Bowen Therapist at The Old School, Queen Camel

Maggie will be practicing the Bowen Technique alongside John Wilks at the Old School, Queen Camel on Tuesdays and Saturdays. To book a session with Maggie, please go to the calendar below.

About Maggie: My interest in Bowen Therapy was first sparked when I received a treatment myself.  I had such an amazing feeling of wellbeing and was pain free after the first treatment. I immediately started my journey to becoming a Bowen therapist.

I studied Human Bowen with John Wilks in Sherborne and Equine Bowen with Beth Darrall in Cirencester. Beth is supported by Nigel Dodman, an Equine Veterinary Surgeon and Equine Bowen Therapist.

I am a member of The Bowen Association UK and a member of the British Horse Society, having also passed my BHS Stage 1 Riding and Stable Management exams and the BHS Horse Owners Certificate.  I have a Level 3 Diploma in Human Anatomy & Physiology from The Open Study College, and have both Human and Equine First Aid qualifications. I hold a current DBS Certificate and am insured with Balens.

I spend some of my time flying around as cabin crew, with BA, which I also love to do, so I’m lucky to be able to enjoy the flexibility of both jobs.

Please note that this therapy is holistic and not intended as a substitute for professional healthcare advice or treatment from your GP or your equines' veterinary surgeon. I will always seek permission from the vet responsible for an equine before treating.
