'Presenting Bowen' Workshop

A one-day workshop for Bowen Practitioners to enable a confident, convincing and entertaining presentation on the Bowen Technique.

The workshop will be very much a participatory and supportive experience to encourage confidence in presenting Bowen to differing kinds of audience from doctors to special interest groups.

Topics to be covered will include:

1. Voice projection and body-language
2. The secrets of how to construct a good presentation - introducing variety - humour, stories, visuals etc. How to 'draw your audience in'.
3. Presenting the lecture and use of overheads, powerpoint etc.
4. How to explain the technique to various audiences
5. Demonstration presentation
6. Preparing a 1-hour Presentation - how to arrange a practical session
7. Responding to questions from the audience
8. Requirements before the Lecture
9. Things going 'wrong' during the lecture - how to cope with awkward questions etc.
10. Common Problems and how to avoid them
11. How to enjoy the experience and cope with nerves!
